BENEFIT - LIFE ON THE A LIST

I know I said that I am not a 'lip person' but I think 2013 is definitely going to make me into one. So after umm-ing and ahh-ing I decided to purchase another lip gloss from Benefit. This time I picked up Benefit Ultra High Shines Lip Shine in Life On The A List.

Life on the A list is a creamy peachy pink which has slight shimmer to it. When I first chose this colour, I thought it was going to be VERY VERY VERY sheer however as you can see from the photos above, it is actually quite opaque.
As all Ultra High Shines, this lip gloss comes with a brush applicator which helps to give a more precise application. The formulation of this lip gloss is not sticky at all and it actually quite moisturising.
Also, if you apply this over for example a pink lipstick, it will definitely look really nice. This may be my go to colour for the up coming season.

Benefit Ultra High Shines Lip Shine retails for £14, and they are available at Benefit stores or their website (click here for their website).
You can also get Benefit products from Boots (here) or Debenhams (here)

Benefit is definitely becoming my favourite brand, I cannot wait to try other products now!
Love Always,

NARS FOREPLAY ORGASM PALETTE

NARS have been known to be very explicit when naming their products, so when I was having a little snoop on their website I came across the Foreplay Orgasm palette. The first thing that popped into my head was 'WHAT!?!?!?!?!'
Something about this palette was just screaming at me so I caved and as soon as I ordered it I literally could not wait...

The whole palette is designed around the oh-so-famous orgasm blush by NARS. It consists of four different types of powder products - 3 being different types of blushes and 1 powder highlight.
(swatched only once, natural light)

I do not know the actual names of the colours in the palette but I will do my best to describe the colours to you all -
1. A matte dark peach blush
2. A matte hot pink blush
3. Orgasm blush - A peachy pink with slight golden shimmer
4. A golden yellow hightlighter which has gold shimmer.

As you can see from the photo above, they are all highly pigmented with the exception of the highlighter shade but that does not bother me since it is a highlighter so it is expected to be a tad bit sheer.
The palette it self is packaged in the typical NARS packaging so even though it is clean now, in a few uses it will be covered in fingerprints.
As for the size of the actual palette I would say it is around the same size of the Urban Decay Naked Basics palette. Here are some photos to see the two palettes in comparison:

The NARS Foreplay Orgasm palette retails for £39.50 which you can buy on their website (link here), which is great considering it contains 3 blushes and 1 highlighter. Plus it is really handy to keep in your make up bag since it is compact.

Love Always,

BENEFIT CREASELESS CREAM SHADOW - BUSY SIGNAL

After wearing a black liquid/gel eyeliner for so long, I was actually a bit bored of the look. So I was on a mission to try something new and I decided to try out Benefit Creaseless Cream Shadow/Liner in Busy Signal. I brought this when I got r.s.v.p (I did a blog post on that, which you can read here) and I have been loving it ever since!
Busy Signal is a 'Venetian brown'. But to be perfectly honest, I have no idea what that means so in my own words, it a gorgeous brown colour with would suit any skin tone and it has a slight shimmer which would make your eyes 'pop!'
As you can see from the photo above, it is VERY opaque which I love since it is definitely worth the money. As for staying power, it most definitely lasts all night however it is not a pain to remove like some make up products can be.

Benefit Creaseless Cream Shadow/Liner retail for £14, however I would suggest to keep your eyes out on any deals since I personally would not pay the full amount (I only paid £7!).
I think I may have a 'Benefit problem' since I have been hauling and reviewing their products like crazy lately!
Have you brought any of their creaseless cream shadow/liners?? If so, which ones?

Love Always,
Mandeep
